Logistics
Logistics play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of our manganese products.
In addition to our core mining operations, by focusing on building practical infrastructure and fostering strong partnerships, we aim to create a reliable logistics network that supports our operations. We aim to contribute to local development and creating local direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Depot & Storage of Minerals
AMD manages a mineral depot located in Owendo-Libreville with a capacity of 200,000 tons. Positioned near a railway link and close to the harbor, the depot facilitates the straightforward transfer of minerals from storage to vessels for export. This location is key to minimizing transport delays and keeping operations efficient.
As part of our long-term planning, we are exploring the possibility of increasing our storage capacity to accommodate future production growth.

Railway Transport
AMD works closely with national railway operators to transport manganese ore. Utilizing the railway not only cuts down on emissions compared to road transport but also improves the consistency and reliability of our logistics.
Our upcoming acquisition of wagons and locomotives will allow us to ensures dependable transportation from the mine to the port, while also contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of our logistics chain.

Port & Shipping
In collaboration with New Owendo International Port (NOIP), AMD exports its manganese ore to markets worldwide. By working closely with NOIP, we can manage the loading and shipping process efficiently, ensuring our products are exported on schedule.
Our proximity to Gabon's key port allows us to optimize the export process, which is crucial for meeting international client demand.
